Enriching the camp experience for countless young people.
What is Grace's Place?
Inspired, created and named by her camp peers, Grace’s Place is a completely new building that will serve as a multi-functional space overlooking the lake at the New London County 4-H Camp in Franklin, CT. Initially envisioned as a meeting place for counselors, the new structure will also accommodate activities, crafts, events and outdoor dining for an expanding camp population.
Who Was Grace?
Grace Hanlon was a daughter, friend, student and athlete whose life was tragically cut short by a car accident in 2016. Grace was extensively involved with the New London County 4-H Camp in North Franklin, Connecticut, where she served as a team leader for several years and went on to join the 4-H Ambassador program, one of the highest levels of service opportunities offered through the organization.
We are planning a number of fundraisers in the coming year. Our first Trivia Night was a huge success and we raised more than $5,000! We're hosting another one on Friday, April 27th. Register yourself or your team today to guarantee your spot. Space is limited!
We're making progress!
We've broken ground on Grace's Place and hosted our first fundraiser. Follow along with the build and see how close we are to reaching our financial goal!
